Vibe Rails ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Vibe Rails website and service. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

  • Account information — name and email address provided when you sign in via Auth0.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns collected via Google Analytics.
  • Terminal session data — terminal input and output streamed through the Vibe Rails relay. Sessions are not stored permanently on our servers; they exist only for the duration of an active connection.
  • API keys — hashed identifiers used to authenticate your CLI to the relay. We do not store keys in plain text.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the Vibe Rails service.
  • To authenticate your identity and secure your sessions.
  • To improve the product through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
  • To communicate important service updates or security notices.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Auth0 — authentication and identity management.
  • Google Analytics — anonymized website usage tracking.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Terminal session data is ephemeral and is not persisted after the session ends. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including TLS encryption for data in transit and hashed storage for sensitive credentials. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
