1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Vibe Rails website or service (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Vibe Rails provides a framework and relay service for managing AI coding assistant sessions, including remote terminal access, environment isolation, and rule enforcement tooling. The Service is provided "as is" and may change over time without notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Transmit malicious code, viruses, or any software intended to harm systems.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.

6. Intellectual Property

The Vibe Rails name, logo, and software are owned by Robert Stokes. The open-source components of Vibe Rails are licensed under their respective licenses as indicated in the project repository. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our trademarks or branding.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIBE RAILS AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time and for any reason, including violation of these Terms, without notice or liability.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
